Are you creating challenges for your employees, or letting them become complacent in their jobs? It is my view that complacency is dangerous. At some point, the organization and the employees both are hurt by such a feeling. The organization won’t grow and innovate as quickly and the employees will feel unfulfilled.
That spark, that challenge, that drives amazing work, will be lacking.
Do you value teamwork? Do you encourage healthy debate and diversity and place team goals above individual goals? Do you truly view your team as an extended family? Do you use the complementary skill sets and the cohesiveness of your team to bring the best out of each one to the benefit of your companies and with that your investors?
You have an incredible team. You know it, they know it. And your team has the capability to create results that as individuals they could not accomplish. Your team united makes them unique, and require you as a leader to open the way for them to bring forth intention and specifics that they share among themselves.
